Un-Bearable is the fifteenth level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. The level is located in Warp Room 3.
Un-Bearable is one of three unique levels. The player is in a forest, with some snowy areas and some dry areas, where a large bear is chasing Crash through the level. Instead of running forward, one must run fast in the opposite direction, attempting not to get squashed by the bear. For some parts of the level Crash will ride Polar. This level is considered more challenging than the other levels like this (Crash Dash, Crash Crush). Other things in the players way are chasms, and electric fences, but in Un-Bearable there are fences you need to slide under to progress in the level. There is a Bonus Round in the level. In addition, Un-Bearable contains a Skull Gem Path. Un-Bearable contains a hidden portal that takes Crash to the Sixth Warp Room, where the portal for Totally Bear will be unlocked. Un-Bearable contains the following enemies that a player will face:
Like in every level, the regular Clear Gem is present. To obtain this gem, a player must collect every box in the level. In the level, some players may find it hard to obtain all the boxes, becuase you cannot go back; becuase the bear will squash Crash, and you cannot go too slow; the bear will crush Crash. There are no other gems to obtain in Un-Bearable.
- The term "Un-Bearable" is the same meaning for the word of a similar name (Unbearable), only the name represents the challenge, and the bears in the level.
