The Eel Deal is the tenth level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. The level is located in Warp Room 2.
Overview[]
The Eel Deal is a level located in the sewers, in an unknown area. Crash has to navigate the sewers, avoiding fans and enemies. For some of the level, the player is in a large pipe; later on the player will be in open space. in other times, Crash has to hang from meshes to get to the designated area. In addition, when the player travels through water, every few seconds the water will become electric, stepping in it will hurt Crash. There is a Bonus Round in the level. The Eel Deal contains the following enemies that a player will face:
- Sewer Machine
- Metal Bomb
- Rat
- Eel (Cannot hurt them)
Gems[]
Like in every level, the regular Clear Gem is present. To obtain this gem, a player must collect every box in the level. Also in The Eel Deal is the Green Gem. Obtaining the Green Gem is fairly complicated, because most players will have no idea where it is. When Crash makes it to a part where he can go left or right, pick right, and go through the Nitro Box area. Keep walking forward until Crash makes it to a dead end. Walk through the dead end, and Crash walks through the wall. Continue through the path and the Green Gem will be waiting to be obtained.

- The The title, "The Eel Deal" is an obvious pun of the term, "The Real Deal".
