Sewer or Later is the twelfth level in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. The level is located in Warp Room 3.
Overview[]
Sewer or Later is a level located in the sewers, in an unknown area. Crash has to navigate the sewers, avoiding fans and enemies. For some of the level, the player is in a large pipe; later on the player will be in open space. in other times, Crash has to hang from meshes to get to the designated area. In addition, when the player travels through water, every few seconds the water will become electric, stepping in it will hurt Crash. The level is considered more challenging than the previous level, The Eel Deal. There is a Bonus Round in the level, and a Yellow Gem Path as well. Sewer or Later contains the following enemies that a player will face:
- Sewer Machine
- Assistant
- Rat
- Eel (Cannot hurt them)
Gems[]
Like in every level, the regular Clear Gem is present. To obtain this gem, a player must collect every box in the level. There is another Clear Gem in the level, and the player is required to go through the Yellow Gem Path. To unlock the Yellow Gem Path, one must obtain the Yellow Gem in Plant Food. At the end of the path is the other Clear Gem.

- The title, "Sewer or Later" is an obvious pun of the term, "Sooner or Later".
